Paper from Our College, “Bionic Active Sonar Covert Detection Technology Based on Dolphin Whistle Signal” Was Selected into Frontrunner 5000 - Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journals of China

Recently, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China released the statistical results of Chinese Sci-tech Paper and Citation Database (CSTPCD) of 2017, and the list of “Frontrunner 5000 - Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journals of China” (F5000) of 2017. The paper of professor Yin Jingwei from our college, “Bionic Active Sonar Covert Detection Technology Based on Dolphin Whistle Signal” was selected.

The Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China launched the F5000 project in December 2012, to promote the overall academic quality of the science and technology Journals in China, introduce our country's outstanding scientific research achievements to the world, and enhance our academic influence and international competitiveness. Through the combined process of rigorous quantitative analysis and peer review and recommendation, the project selects the candidate papers from about 300 “high quality science and technology journals in China”, and eventually selects the scientific papers with complete content, high academic quality and influence into F5000.

Based on the 2017 CSTPCD, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China made a further scientific evaluation of the quality and influence of academic journals by using a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. It selected new high quality science and technology journals, and then selected articles of high academic quality and strong influence from the high quality journals in 2012 - 2016 as the 2017 F5000 papers. The paper “Bionic Active Sonar Covert Detection Technology Based on the Dolphin Whistle Signal” from Acta Armamentarii was selected into 2017 F5000.
